Born by the ocean
Storm was born in January 2024 on Matanzas beach, founded by Isidora Vergara and Diego Téllez, a couple who turned their passion for surfing into a life project.
Today we’re a community of kids, teens and adults who learn, share and grow together by the ocean.

Isidora Vergara
In Matanzas since 2017. She leads every student’s experience and is also in the water teaching.
- 10+ years surfing longboard, mid-length and shortboard
- Certified yoga and meditation teacher

Diego Téllez
In Matanzas since 2021. He leads training, safety and coaching for our surfers.
- 20 years of surfing experience
- ISA Level 2 and MAP Técnica certified coach,
- Lifeguard, WSR Rescue and First Aid.
